Celebrating 15+ Years of Capturing Precious Family Moments: A Heartfelt Thank You
More than seventeen years ago I purchased my first digital SLR camera and I embarked on a journey that would forever change my life. What began as a passion for photography grew into a fulfilling career that has allowed me to witness and capture some of life’s most precious moments, as well as support my family and win a few awards along the way. Although I don’t have an exact date for when I started my business, I always consider August 2009 as the beginning. That’s when I photographed one of my best friend’s newborn at just a week old, a moment that felt like the real start of this journey—despite having photographed some families and babies before then.
As I celebrate 15+ years of photographing newborns and families, I find myself reflecting on this incredible journey, and I am filled with overwhelming gratitude.
Over the past decade and a half, I have had the privilege of photographing hundreds (and hundreds) of families and newborns. Each session has been a unique experience, filled with laughter, joy, and sometimes a few tears (usually babies and toddlers, but at times parents full of love for their family and seeing the moments we have captured together). From the tiny toes of a newborn to the playful giggles of toddlers, every moment has been a reminder of the beauty and love that surrounds us all.
For those of you that have entrusted me with your precious memories, It’s hard to put into words just how much it has meant to me to be a part of your lives. You have trusted me to capture the most important milestones in your family’s journey—moments that are fleeting but so incredibly meaningful. Whether it was the birth of your first child, an extended family session, or that last photoshoot you might get before your teen/adult children fly the next, I have cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories for you.
This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my amazing clients (and my own family). Your trust in my work has been the foundation of my business, and for that, I am eternally grateful. You have allowed me into your lives, and your hearts, and I consider it an honour to have been able to share in your joy.
As I look forward to the future, I am excited about the many more memories we will create together. My commitment to photographing your family’s love and connection remains as strong as ever. I am constantly inspired by the stories you share with me, and I am eager to continue documenting the moments that matter most to you.

I have been thinking of putting together some sort of celebration by way of a giveaway but each day just seems to fly by.. I do hope I can do something fun and exciting soon.
