On the weekend I was honoured to host one of Australia’s best newborn photographers, Kelly Brown of Little Pieces Photography. www.littlepiecesphotography.com.au

Kelly has a simplistic, yet artful style about her work, keeping it all about the babies in the most adorable way she knows how. She knows and understands babies and how to create perfect environments to photograph them. She is gentle and, importantly, promotes their safety at all times when photographing.

Myself, along with 10 other photographers, got to see Kelly work her magic on three awesome little models – all under two weeks of ages. And what wonderful little babes we had.

I love what I do and I’m very comfortable photographing newborns and babies. I’ve been doing it for a while now and have photographed over 130 babies, but to watch one of our best in action was truly inspirational. I love to learn, read, and better myself in anyway I can, whether it’s photography, business or personal – it re-ignites my passion and desire to improve myself.

Kelly is a lovely, down to earth person who makes everyone feel welcome and is someone I found very easy to relate to. She’s a mum, working hard, her family is the most important thing in her world, she is competitive, a perfectionist, and strives to do her best (like so many of us) – not to mention one of the most awesome photographers around 😉

I have set myself new goals, will continue to improve my craft and most of all look forward to photographing lots more new little babes.

I am grateful – for wonderful clients and family who have supported me so far and look forward to meeting so many more gorgeous family’s who entrust me with their most precious of cargo.
